Chapel Collection
Simple form. Strong presence.

Chapel takes its cues from rural churches, old halls and the enduring simplicity of traditional gabled buildings.
Strong rooflines sit over substantial walls, using stone for depth, shadow and permanence, balanced with natural timber.
Inside, the structure becomes part of the architecture. Exposed timber ceilings, rafters and beautifully expressed trusses celebrate the craftsmanship involved in putting the building together.
There is a strong European and Tuscan influence in some of the masonry, but the intention isn't to reproduce something from another time or place.
It's about taking a form that has worked for centuries and reinterpreting it as a FANDR Homestead, designed for the Australian landscape and the way we live today.
